The LCHS is operated totally by volunteers. As a member of the Society you will be supporting the efforts of the Society volunteers. In return the Society will maintain a vast history resource and research material about Lewis County and Lewis County families. Free to use and research by members, and non-members at a nominal fee per visit. The Staff is very knowledgeable about Lewis County history and the historical materials available at the Society. As a member you will also receive the quarterly publication of the Society, "Shakin and Diggin".
